About the Event
An NVQ is a work based assessment achieved through on-the job assessment and with the production of a learner portfolio.
We offer several routes to achieving the NVQ depending on your current skill level:
Assessment Only - aimed at those already working in the industry who can provide evidence of meeting the NVQ requirements. Evidence is collected over a 12 month period using a variety of methods including in person assessments, job diaries, knowledge questions and professional discussions.
Training and Assessment - for those new to heritage plastering we recommend attendance on our Professional Heritage Plastering Programme to gain the practical skills. After this courses students can gain work in the industry and be NVQ assessed at a later date. Please note that assessment is still required to take place on-the job so you will need to have access to heritage work.
