Heritage Skills Exchange

The Heritage Skills Exchange is a place for carringtonLIMEs students who are carrying out restoration projects to connect with professional trade students who are looking for real world experiences of working with lime.​

  • Connect with local professionals who are looking for work experience opportunities

  • Provide a new tradesperson with that vital stepping stone into the heritage industry. 

  • Work alongside the tradesperson to learn together whilst pushing your project over the finish line

​

It is expected that the homeowner and tradesperson will work together on projects. Unless overwise agree time is given free of charge - payment is the opportunity of real world experiences to gain confidence in working with lime.

Assess to The Heritage Skills Exchange is exclusively for carringtonLIMEs practical course students. On sign up you will be asked to confirm which course you have completed.

It is expected that work experience opportunities will be given free of charge and that the homeowner will work WITH the professional on any project. This is not an opportunity to get free lime plastering completed!
