It is a very exciting time to be a heritage plastering. With traditional materials such as lime and clay now being at the forefront of modern construction, a new world of opportunity is opening up for those with experience of natural and traditional materials.
However, unlike other trades where careers paths are clearly written, opportunities to start a career in heritage plastering can be limited - this may be due to a lack of apprenticeships in your area, or the employers requirements for formal qualifications or experience.
