In this one day course you will learn the basics of Tadalakt plastering. 

  • Substrate preparation
  • Lime plaster application
  • How to create coloured plaster
  • Waxing to create a waterproof surface.

What is Tadalakt Plaster

Tadelakt is a waterproof plaster surface used in Moroccan architecture to make baths, sinks, water vessels,  interior and exterior walls, ceilings, roofs, and floors. It is made  from lime plaster, which is rammed, polished, and treated with soap to  make it waterproof and water-repellant.

The course is aimed at anyone involved in traditional or natural building. Whether you are renovating your own property, looking to build an eco build, a tradesperson looking to upskill or an architect looking to learn about traditional finishes, this course is suitable for all.

All tools and materials are included.

Course day timings: 10am - 4pm
